3-hour, 6-hour, and 12-hour unlimited ride passes: How to buy and plan details

Our unlimited ride passes let you ride as much as you like for 3, 6, or 12 hours, for less than the regular fare.

 

Where to buy

Passes are sold on the following sites.
 
Passes are valid in Tokyo (including East Tokyo), Osaka (excluding Kindai University), Shin-Osaka and Esaka, Kyoto (excluding Maizuru), Yokohama, Kawasaki, Kobe, Asagiri, Utsunomiya, Nagoya, Hiroshima, Sendai, Fukuoka, Kitakyushu, Onojo, Takamatsu, Hamamatsu, Okazaki, Naha, Sapporo, Tsu, Saitama, and Kofu.
 
Some areas are excluded, so please check where you plan to ride.

To ride LUUP, you must register a payment method, such as a credit card, in the app. A pass alone is not enough to ride.

Passes and prices

3-hour pass: 980 yen (tax included)

  • This pass covers your ride fares for 3 hours from the moment you redeem it.
  • Cheaper than paying the regular fare.
  • Ideal for errands or plans that take about 1 to 2 hours.

6-hour pass: 1,680 yen (tax included)

  • This pass covers your ride fares for 6 hours from the moment you redeem it.
  • Cheaper than paying the regular fare.
  • Ideal for a half-day outing, such as exploring with frequent stops.

12-hour pass: 2,480 yen (tax included)

  • This pass covers your ride fares for 12 hours from the moment you redeem it.
  • Cheaper than paying the regular fare.
  • Ideal for sightseeing, travel, or a day off with no set plans.

 

How the pass works

  • Ride time cannot be split across multiple days.
  • This is not a subscription.
  • The pass starts the moment you redeem the code in the app, so please check when it will expire.
  • Ride time within the validity period is covered. Any ride time beyond it is charged at the regular fare. You can end a ride and start another as many times as you like within the validity period.
  • You can also switch to a different vehicle within the validity period.
  • On long rides, check the battery level regularly. If it gets low, end your ride and switch to a vehicle with more charge before it runs out.
  • Pass details, prices, and sales periods may change or end without notice.

 

Coupon notes

  • You must redeem the code in the app within 6 months of purchase.
  • The pass is valid for 3, 6, or 12 hours from the time you redeem the code in the LUUP app. We recommend redeeming it just before you start your ride.
  • The 3-hour pass covers ride fares for up to 3 hours, the 6-hour pass for up to 6 hours, and the 12-hour pass for up to 12 hours. Only ride time within the validity period is covered.
  • If you redeem the code after your ride has started, or if your ride continues past the validity period, you will be charged the regular fare for any ride time outside the validity period.
  • You can ride as many times as you like within the validity period.
  • Once redeemed, the pass applies automatically to your rides. It cannot be paused or scheduled for later.
  • If your total discount is less than the purchase price, the difference will not be refunded.
  • Valid areas: Tokyo (including East Tokyo), Osaka (excluding Kindai University), Shin-Osaka and Esaka, Kyoto (excluding Maizuru), Yokohama, Kawasaki, Kobe, Asagiri, Utsunomiya, Nagoya, Hiroshima, Sendai, Fukuoka, Kitakyushu, Onojo, Takamatsu, Hamamatsu, Okazaki, Naha, Sapporo, Tsu, Saitama, and Kofu.
  • Passes cannot be returned, exchanged, redeemed for cash, reissued, or refunded.

 

Receiving your coupon code

Your coupon code will be sent by email after purchase.

 

I get an error when I enter my coupon code

  • If no email arrives within a few minutes, please contact Amazon.

When you redeem a code, a message showing the expiration time may appear. Please check it before confirming.

While riding

  • On long rides, take care of your health: stay hydrated and take breaks.
  • If you need to stop mid-ride, park where parking is allowed and lock the vehicle.
  • If you can't find a place to park, return the vehicle to a nearby port.
  • On long rides, check the battery level regularly. If it gets low, end your ride and switch to a vehicle with more charge before it runs out.
  • Please follow traffic rules and ride safely.

Using a pass with a subscription plan

  • Passes can be combined with the subscription plan.
  • The subscription discount is applied first, then the pass discount.

 

Receipts

  • Luup cannot issue receipts for passes bought on external sites.
  • Please contact the seller, such as Kiigo or Amazon.
