Display of In-Use Status During Ride
After starting a ride, if you put your iPhone to sleep, the following display will be shown on the lock screen or home screen.
This is a function that clearly informs you that you are in a ride (using the vehicle).
This display will only be shown during the LUUP ride.
It is a support function to help you notice immediately if you forget to complete the return procedure from the LUUP app after parking the vehicle at the port.
Permission Settings for Function
You can choose whether to allow or disallow this display function when it is shown for the first time on the lock screen.
The permission setting can be changed later at any time from "Settings".
- Steps）Settings → LUUP → Live Activities to turn off
When Display Does Not Disappear from Lock Screen After Ride Ends
Please try the following operations.
- Swipe left on the display on the lock screen
- Restart the LUUP app
- Leave it for a few hours
- ※ If the ride has ended normally, there will be no ride fee charged even if "In Use" is displayed on the lock screen, so please rest assured.
Displayed as "In Use" While Vehicle is Temporarily Stopped or Locked
While borrowing the vehicle, it will always display "In Use" regardless of the status such as when the vehicle is locked.
Environment Available for Function
- iPhone
- iOS 16.2 or later
- LUUP app version v1.73.0 or later
- The display on the home screen is limited to certain devices such as iPhone 14 Pro/Pro Max, iPhone 15/Plus/Pro/Max
- This feature is not available on Android
